LA Oneness Conference

It’s been a wait for more than a year for the Blessing givers of North America to be back for the Oneness Conference. The second edition like the first, was held in the sprawling city of Los Angeles, California. The organizers and volunteers have been planning and preparing for the event earnestly. As the day of the inauguration of the conference came on the 14th of June it was all-round joy and celebration in the air as old acquaintances were renewed and experiences of their journey in the Oneness process shared…it was a moment to cherish and experience.

Being with Sri Anandagiriji was what the Blessing givers were waiting for and it turned out to be wonderful with an assembly of more than 500 Blessing givers from different parts of the world.

Sri Anandagiriji addressed the participants each day of the event sharing with the participants the immense wisdom of Sri Amma Bhagavan.

To a question "What is the Oneness process?" Sri Anandagiriji said, "It is one of being happy with yourself, of allowing yourself to see and accept yourself as you are. Resisting who you are and what you are is… suffering."

On another occasion Sri Anandagiriji gave light on the difference in the approaches that should be adopted while dealing with the inner world vis-à-vis the external world.

Speaking of the internal and external world, he said, "Do you know of the man who having a wrong understanding of Inner Integrity rushed to his Boss one day and said, "Sir, I think you are a mean and unscrupulous man". The boss being a patient man said, "It is ok, my son". The young man going a step further confessed, "Do you know sir, I am a corrupt and irresponsible man too. I don’t think this company is benefiting from me". Hearing this, the boss in a fit of rage fired the young man. So much for a flawed understanding of the teachings. That is why it becomes imperative that we understand the inner world and the outer world and act accordingly".

Present and addressing the conference along with Sri Anandagiriji was Anthony Robbins, the famed self-help coach of the United States. Sri Anandagiriji shared the immense contribution Tonyji and his wife Sageji have been making to the Oneness family through their Oneness Blessings and commitment to the vision of Sri Amma Bhagavan.

Tonyji then conducted a powerful session explaining the different levels of human consciousness thus helping the people to further their spiritual journey.

Later Tonyji and Sageji shared the experiences and miracles in their lives during and after their process which led them to become part of the Oneness family. The sharing of their personal experiences was awesome.

The last day of the event was thrown open to public and people from all parts of United States poured in to have a taste of the Blessings. It was an amazing turnout of more than 2500 people on the 17th of June considering that it was a cultural festival in USA celebrated as the 'Father's day'. Sri Anandagiriji spoke about the "Futility of the constant effort to change the other", which leads to unhappiness in relationships. Instead he pointed out the need for acceptance of the other as they are, as a means to have right relationships.

Anthony Robbins then guided the people into insights on self-understanding and led them into Oneness Blessing amidst chanting and meditation.

Then began the magnus opei of the event. 500 Blessing givers… 2500 Blessing receivers!

Imagine the power! It felt as though the Gods have opened the floodgates of Grace down upon the earth!

Sacredness and silence descended into the hearts of thousands of people as the blessings descended into them. Laughter... peace... bliss... gratitude...

Thundering music followed with Rick Allen of the Def Leppard band and his team of 20 drummers pounding into the hearts of the people. It was a befitting finale to this grand event with people singing, dancing and hugging each other with expressions of love and joy all over.
